The Virtual Cantina, operators of the world’s largest Star Wars Celebration Fan Page, is proud to announce their fourth Boonta Eve Event. “Boonta Eve 4” will be held the night prior to Star Wars Celebration Europe on 6 April 2023 at the Breakfast Club, Canary Wharf, 1 Crossrail Pl, London E14 5AR.

After hosting a successful event in Anaheim for Star Wars Celebration 2022 “we felt it was important for Boonta Eve 4 to take place in London for all of our global members to enjoy. Many of our members have made Boonta Eve their Celebration Eve tradition and who were we to deny that” says Spencer Jawitz, Co-Founder of The Virtual Cantina and Boonta Eve.  “Bringing Boonta Eve 4 to the European market made sense, especially since our location is walking distance from Canary Wharf, where scenes from Rogue One and more recently Andor were filmed.”

How to Attend

“Boonta Eve 4” will be a ticketed event with sales going live 1 January 2023 at 5pm GMT/12pm ET/9amPT on the Virtual Cantina Facebook page. Tickets will cost £30 for General Admission regardless of age.  The ticket will give you access to the all-day “Boonta Eve 4” event, a swag bag, and one drink! A special food and beverage menu will be available at the event. Festivities will run from 3pm until 11pm (12+ only) and from 3pm to 8pm (all ages). Only 250 tickets will be sold for the event and we can’t guarantee there will be room for walk ups so buy early!

In true Boonta Eve tradition, the event will host all-day meet and greets with various actors and crew from the Star Wars saga. We will also have live podcasts, musical performances, as well as the return of the legendary Boonta Eve karaoke competition “Alderaan Idol”.  Ten singers will be chosen during a first-round preview event on 7 March (hosted by yours truly – Richard and Sarah of Skywalking Through Neverland), with the winner and runner-ups from our Celebration Anaheim 2022 event getting a bye into round two of Alderaan Idol 2023. Information on how to enter the Alderaan Idol 2023 karaoke competition will be published soon.

“In a relatively short period of time, our Boonta Eve event has become an essential part of the Celebration experience for many fans from across the world.” says Frank D. Rich, Co-Founder of Boonta Eve / The Virtual Cantina and Owner of Star Wars Autograph News. “Celebrities and fans alike have been kicking off their Celebrations with us and we are thrilled to be bringing our event to London, the birthplace of the GFFA. Any Celebration veteran will tell you there is so much more to the experience than just want happens on the show floor, panels and autograph hall and we are proud to put on this event for our fandom. We are truly humbled so many people have made it a tradition to launch their Celebrations with us at Boonta Eve. Whether it’s for the karaoke, celebrity sightings, swag or just to spend time with other fans who love the saga just as much as you do, we have something for everyone, and that’s one of the things that makes it such a special event.”
