Hello to all you Chimps, gorillas, orangutans, Underdwellers, and you Mego Collectors! The ape fan community went crazy with the recent news that Mego will start releasing new Planet of the Apes figures starting in April with Dr. Zaius and Cornelius.

We spoke with Paul ‘Mr. Mego’ Clarke of Mego Corp. who gives us insight as to what is coming up with the new Mego Planet of the Apes line (even some hints toward future releases). We talk about Paul’s career in the toy industry, our favorite figures growing up, and the psychological effect of collecting these special action figures. You will hear Richard have an actual breakthrough! They don’t call Paul Dr. Mego for nothing!
Richard and Kevin also fantasize about the Ape figures, and other pop culture icons they would love to see in their collection in the future. They also run down the list of the figures that are coming out in wave 12 such as The Rocketeer, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Stan Lee Web Hand Edition, Igor from Young Frankenstein Igor, the Star Trek Salt Vampire, and more!
