TODAY IN STAR WARS HISTORY: 11/1/79
R2-D2 and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) begin shooting their first of two days on Sesame Street. Craig Miller, Publicist and Director of Fan Relations for Lucasfilm, produced the five segments and was also the operator of R2’s dome.
On Episode 268 of Skywalking Through Neveraland, Craig Miller told us the harrowing story of getting Anthiony Daniels to New York for the shoot after realizing at the last minute he will need a work visa to come into the U.S. In this video we play a little clip, but the whole thing is worth hearing! https://ift.tt/3Ewg7gm
