Halloween 2020 is Happening! Join in a Virtual Recreation of Disney’s Haunted Mansion: Haunted Mansion Stitched

Be a part of a virtual recreation of this classic attraction just in time for Halloween…

Calling all Halloween enthusiasts and content creators! We are inviting you to make Halloween 2020 a holiday to remember! The traditional Halloween events and traditions may be cancelled this year, but that’s where HAUNTED MANSION STITCHED steps in and takes its place. HAUNTED MANSION STITCHED is a virtual recreation of Disney’s Haunted Mansion attraction replicated by fans and content creators.

HAUNTED MANSION STITCHED 

To celebrate Halloween in a different way this year, we are stitching together your video clips that as a whole will make up the Haunted Mansion dark ride primarily from Disneyland. However, if you are more inspired by the Haunted Mansion from the Magic Kingdom, the Phantom Manor from Disneyland Paris, or the Mystic Manor from Hong Kong Disneyland, then let your creativity be your guide. You are the ‘Ghost Host’ of your video clip, you can be as creative as you want. You can go homemade or over the top with production value.

Here’s how YOU can be a part of HAUNTED MANSION STITCHED:

1. Read the Guidelines below and pick one Scene (or more). Enter your choice via this Google Form (One Google Form per Scene).

Haunted Mansion Stitched 2020 – Scene Selection Form

Submissions Due October 21, 2020 Pick a Haunted Mansion scene and recreate that moment! Send in your raw video footage and that will be cut together with others to create one amazing Haunted Mansion ride-through video, just in time for Halloween 2020. Brought to you by Skywalking Through Neverland.

2. Join our Skywalking Network Slack group chat where you can ask questions or collaborate virtually with other participants

3. Recreate the Scene and shoot video horizontal 16:9 in the best quality you can

4. Send in your video by October 21 to be considered for the final cut. SUBMIT FINISHED VIDEO HERE

5. The Final Cut of HAUNTED MANSION STITCHED will be revealed on October 25th on YouTube.

Guidelines for HAUNTED MANSION STITCHED Submission

We request that you make your scene… 

Your Original Work

• You may only upload videos you yourself have made. This is your time to be creative! Do not include 3rd party brands or content. Please do not include footage that does not belong to you. 

Submissions Due by October 21

• Your finished scene is due by 10/21. This allows for us to edit together for an Oct 25th debut. Please submit here.

Audio

• Record your own original audio. However, we have the right to re-edit the audio to fit within the completed video.
• Please DO NOT put a musical soundtrack on your submission.

HD and Horizontal 16:9

• Try to shoot and upload your video in the highest quality possible. Horizontal 16:9 format is required.

FAQ

• When you pick your scene, you can either recreate the whole scene or just a piece of it. We reserve the right to edit your submission down to fit within the whole.
• Due to the Haunted Mansion ride length, not all submissions may be included.
• Yes, you may submit more than one scene.
• Your scene can be as high-tech or homemade as you want it.

FUN!

• Let’s celebrate the 51st Anniversary of The Haunted Mansion! This project comes from the fans and will be as great as our collective minds create it. Pull out all the bells and whistles and hitchhiking ghosts.

• Join our dedicated Skywalking Network Slack, the #haunted-mansion-stitched channel, if you want to ask questions or chat with other scene-makers. Perhaps collaborate!

Remember, if you break any of these guidelines your scene will not be considered in the final cut.
