Immersive Star Trek Experience coming to SDCC 2025 Gaslamp Quarter
We love immersive entertainment, and Paramount + Star Trek has received our hail. To celebrate the launch of STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS Season 3 (which premiered July 17 on Paramount+), dancers and performers dressed as the U.S.S. Enterprise crew will beam down to the streets of San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter on Saturday, July 26th!!
Expect to see five immersive “strange new worlds” inspired by this season’s genre-bending episodes:
- Noir murder mystery
- Zombie horror
- ’60’s retro mission
- A Vulcan wedding (cue the Vulcan bells)
- Sci-fi “mayhem”
Here’s a little tease from @startrek socials:

I don’t know about you, but my interest is piqued for these themed episodes, and my expectations are off the charts for this immersive experience! These Star Trek performances will be popping up at the Interactive Zone at Petco Park between 3:00 and 4:00pm and outside the Paramount+ Lodge at Happy Does (340 Fifth Ave) between 6:00 and 8:00pm. Follow @StarTrek social handles to learn about additional performance locations.
These activations will follow the official STAR TREK UNIVERSE Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 26th, at 12:30 PM. We will be sharing our coverage from the convention, so follow @skywalkingpod on socials.
“This performance is a love letter to STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS, a high-energy celebration that honors the heart of the series while exploring the edges of genre. Whether you’re here for the sci-fi, the drama, the adventure, or just the sheer joy of it all, there’s something in this for you,” said Stephanie Turek, Creative Director and Choreographer of JFI Productions.
