Comic-Con Museum, located in San Diego’s Balboa Park, features comic art, screen-used TV set props, rare collectibles and more. Leading up to San Diego Comic-Con this year, you have an opportunity to get an exclusive look at select pieces of coveted Star Wars memorabilia. But hurry, as the “Echoes from the Galaxy” TCM/Julien’s Star Wars Memorabilia Auction takes place on Sunday, July 27th, 2025, and those items will disappear from public display on July 26th.

Available NOW through July 26, 2025, you can expect to see:

  • Star Wars – A New Hope Screen-Used Stormtrooper Helmet and Death Star Piece Original Prop (estimated $200,000-$300,000 value)
  • Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Lightsaber Props from Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Liam Neeson (Qui-Gon Jinn) and Ray Park (Darth Maul)
  • Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) Star Wars: Return of the Jedi Production-Made Lightsaber

About the Auction and HOW TO VISIT Comic-Con Museum

The TCM | Julien’s ECHOES FROM THE GALAXY Star Wars Memorabilia Auction will take place on Sunday, July 27th, 2025 at the Comic-Con Museum (Balboa Park) 2131 Pan America Plaza, San Diego, CA 92101 at 10:00 AM and run to approximately 2:00 PM. You can register and start bidding now!

With nearly 300 rare props, artworks, costumes, toys, collectibles, and ephemera from Star Wars films, television series, and special events, this extraordinary collection offers fans a unique opportunity to connect with their favorite moments in Star Wars history.

More than 180 lots in the auction will support the initiative to build The Saga Museum® of Star Wars Memorabilia—a collaboration that brings together four of the world’s largest Star Wars collections, totaling more than 1.5 million objects.   • U.S.’s First Doctor Who exhibit: with sonic screwdrivers used by Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant and a spine-chilling, life-size Weeping Angel that stops Whovians in their tracks.

  • World Premiere Lucha Libre exhibit: spanning the history of the sport, including authentic costumes worn by AEW pro wrestler Thunder Rosa.
    • A spotlight on “Amazonas,” celebrating the extraordinary women warriors of Lucha Libre. It features a Thunder Rosa outfit, a prominent local luchadora
    • Authentic masks from different eras, championship belts, elaborate costumes, vintage
      toys, rare collectibles, and unique memorabilia

  • World Premiere tokidoki exhibit: 20th anniversary tokidoki collectibles, bespoke Funko POPs and limited-edition tattooed Barbies.
    • Celebrates two decades of tokidoki’s bold fusion of Japanese-inspired “kawaii” (cute)
    • aesthetics with edgy, streetwise design.
  • World Premiere Luann comic exhibit: celebrate Greg Evans, Luann creator and award-winning cartoonist, an intimate look, celebrating 40 years of his iconic comic strip.
    • Groundbreaking Storylines: Experience the strips that made headlines, from Luann’s candid period story (which 300 newspapers courageously ran) to Brad and Toni’s eight- year love saga.
    • Fan Devotion: Read touching letters from readers who found themselves in Luann’s world, from parents grateful for conversation starters to adults who grew up with these characters.
  • Comic-Con Masquerade Costumes: Award-winning cosplay from Comic-Con’s signature event.
