What we’re excited about for Season of the Force 2024

Fireworks in Galaxy’s Edge

The Fireworks in Galaxy’s Edge is be called “Fire of the Rising Moons” and will feature a soundtrack of the music we know and love by John Williams. “Villagers and visitors come together to celebrate their freedom and honor the heroes and legends of the galaxy. Iconic music associated with tales from across the galaxy will accompany the display.”

Guests will be able to view the fireworks accompanied by Star Wars music in Galaxy’s Edge near the TIE Echelon, the Millennium Falcon and the speeder garage area. If you have a MagicBand+, it will feature colorful lights and vibrations.

FYI: check your Disneyland App as “Fire of the Rising Moons” will only appear on certain nights.

Star Tours Update

New additions to Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will feature characters and locations from Ahsoka, Andor and The Mandalorian. While we can only speculate at some of the locations, the Disney Parks teaser featured purrgil (space whales), so expect a trip to the planet Seatos from Ahsoka!

Your flight will also include new transmissions from Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, and Din Djarin and Grogu. But you’ll need to ride multiple times, as there will now be over 250 storylines to traverse. Will Ahsoka depend on YOU as the Rebel Spy? We know it won’t be Richard!

This addition to Star Tours is NOT an overlay, it is permanent! For more Star Tours info, head to the Disney Parks Blog.

Hyperspace Mountain Returns!

The high-speed Space Mountain overlay, Hyperspace Mountain, will return to Tomorrowland. We can’t wait for the BEST overlay of any theme park attraction! Get ready to race through the galaxy, encounter an Imperial Star Destroyer and dodge TIE fighters along the way. Hyperspace Mountain lives up to its name.
