The novelization of Star Wars: From The Adventures of Luke Skywalker, by George Lucas, is published by Ballantine Books. *the book was ghost-written by Alan Dean Foster who later went on to write Splinter of the Mind’s Eye.
The novel’s first edition features cover art by Ralph McQuarrie. The book sold out of its initial print run of 125,000 copies by February of 1977. Watch the video to see the differences between film and novel.
