437: Celebrating 100 Years of Disney / Remembering Costume Designer Shawna Trpcic
We celebrate the 100th anniversary of Disney animation, and the life of Star Wars costume designer Shawna Trpcic, with special celebrity guests! First, Sarah Woloski shares fun facts she and Richard learned at a press event for ONCE UPON A STUDIO held at El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. This all-new animated Disney short is now available on Disney+, and it will make you laugh and cry. The fun facts learned from directors Trent Corey and Dan Abraham might also make you laugh and cry more!
Then, Max Cervantes (Co-host, The Max EFX Podcast) shares his experience at the once-in-a-lifetime 100th Anniversary D23 Royal Ball held at the Walt Disney Studios Lot this past weekend. Disney Legends, characters, food, merchandise and the experience – he shares it all.Finally, Leilani Shiu (Teeka the Jawa, Obi-Wan Kenobi / Jawa and creature performer, The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett) worked very closely with Shawna Trpcic.
