Happy New Year Skywalkers! We had lots of fun as we traveled back to Newton, MA for our holiday vacation and met up with some old friends. We hear about some wacky stories as told by Richard and his best childhood bud, Skywalking Through Neverland holiday correspondent Jimmy Pruy. We harken back 30 years to the day where Jimmy was buried under a massive snow drift while playing out scenes on Hoth. Jimmy’s dad recalls the day the new Kenner Greedo action figure came out. Richard’s sister Lisa also has a few words about seeing Darth Vader (or as Bostonians call him, Dah’t Vadah) at the local shopping mall. Why was he in the ladies department signing autographs?

The TinkerBell Half Marathon is coming up! How much training is needed before each race? What costumes will we wear? Our NEW runDisney Prep segment explores these questions.

Skywalking Through Neverland enters the Disneyland Scavenger Hunt with Star Wars Origami author, Chris Alexander. We talk to Chris and get a rundown of the day and reveal where we placed. After careful review we still cannot figure out how we missed the hardest question of the hunt, “If Ariel were to audition in an exotic location, what would she bring?” (If you know the answer please let us know how you got there. Thanks in advance.)

Our Guests:

Chris Alexander, author of Star Wars Origami

Jim Pruy, Richard’s childhood friend.
