TODAY IN STAR WARS HISTORY: 9/24/1978 - Boba Fett makes his very first public appearance

Boba Fett is taken for a test spin! Boba Fett makes his very first public appearance walking alongside Darth Vader at the San Anselmo Country Fair parade in San Anselmo, CA.

The headline in the Independent Journal newspaper reads, “Even Outer Space Bad Guys Swelter in Marin,” This was an extremely hot day.

Inside the Darth Vader suit was Kermit Bryce Eller, and Boba Fett was Duwayne Dunham – an assistant film editor on The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi and went onto direct two episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Kermit “Bryce” Eller shares his story of this parade and so much more in a previous episode of Skywalking Through Neverland.

Were you at this parade? Do you have a connection or story about it? Please share in the video comments!
