Knott’s Berry Farm 100th Anniversary Celebration Begins May 21st!

Knott’s Berry Farm is re-opening to the general public for full operation on May 21st with a 100th Anniversary celebration! The May 21 grand opening will kickoff the summer-long KNOTT’S FAMILY REUNION event, which was supposed to take place last year. In fact, one of the last things we did in March 2020 before COVID shut everything down was attend an amazing food preview of the celebration. It was absolutely delicious.

Knott’s Family Reunion from May 21 through Sept 6 – What to Expect

• Knott’s Bear-y Tales: Return to the Fair – this attraction celebrates the 100th anniversary in style! The 4-d interactive ride takes over the Voyage to the Iron Reef spot, and pays tribute to the classic Knott’s Bear-y Tales ride from 35 years ago. Knott’s Bear-y Tales will take guests on an exciting journey through reimagined show scenes from the original dark ride, including the Boysenberry Pie Factory, Frog Forest, Fortune Teller Camp, Thunder Cave, and Weird Woods, culminating in a celebration at the County Fair.
  
  The story takes place 34 years after the original adventure and follows Boysen Bear and Girlsen Bear as they travel to the Country Fair to earn the blue ribbon prize for their famous boysenberry pies, but Crafty Coyote is back along with his mischievous pups intent on stealing all the pies for themselves. Guests will climb aboard ride vehicles equipped with jelly blasters to try and recover the stolen boysenberry pies as they travel through whimsical and beautiful environments while competing for the highest score.
  
• Characters, Decor and Tasting Cards – Knott’s has pulled out the stops with all-new lovable costumed characters and one-of-a-kind food and drink specialties. And of course – commemorative merchandise. More details on these after we attend a special preview event on May 20th.

• Knott’s Summer Nights – When the sun sets, the farm comes alive with your favorite Knott’s Summer Nights bands and DJ’s on tap to liven up the night at Knott’s Berry Farm. Guests can choose to dance to today’s popular country and folk tunes in Calico Park, rock out to a live band at the Mine Stage, or bop to beats of the Boardwalk DJ around Charleston Circle Fountain. You wont want to miss Knott’s biggest summer event! 
  
• Nightly Ceremony – The theme park is planning a nightly ceremony featuring multiple attractions lighting up the evening and culminating in a special moment with the redesigned illuminated K-tower!

The anniversary celebration runs through September 6, 2021. In accordance with current state guidelines, capacity will be limited and available to California residents only with reservations required for both single-day visits and Season Passholders. Ticket sales and reservations are available now.

All 2020 and 2021 season passes purchased through May 5, 2021, will be valid through May 5, 2022.
