Each week we will post another era of Star Wars Saga Fast Food Premiums  along with available commercials. This week we’re jumping to 1997 and the return of Star Wars to theaters with The Special Editions. For many of you (including Sarah) this was the first time you were able to see the saga in the theaters.

The Commercial

International Variants

Premium: Cup Toppers – This was a 4 character cup and topper set that was released internationally (i.e. Australia, Canada, Japan). They were released at KFC in Hawaii. These same 4 cup toppers would later be re-used in 1997 for a promotion at the FAO Schwartz stare at the Caesars Palace Forum Shops in Las Vegas. Since they were sold at the “Star Wars Cantina” mock-up, each cup had Bill Selby Cantina Artwork
